Also, setting up an OpenDNS account helps with some misspellings, and allows you to block porn sites or specific sites that you don't approve of. Finally, if she uses Safari on her Mac, I recommend Safari Adblock (http://safariadblock.sourceforge.net/) which removes all the banner ads and google adsense ads. I use it all the time, and it makes surfing the Internet less distracting.
